This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive and high-quality Neurodevelopmental Assessments for children with Autism and ADHD.

• Adhere to our Safeguarding Policy, including performing risk assessments when necessary.

• Stay current with mandatory training, Continuing Professional Development, and professional registration obligations relevant to your field.

• Contribute ideas to enhance Paloma’s software tools, ensuring assessments are of high quality, safe, and efficient.


⛳️ Requirements

• You should be one of the following:

• NMC-registered Nurse

• HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Arts Therapist, or Practitioner Psychologist (including Clinical Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, and Counselling Psychologists)

• Social Work England Registered Social Worker

• Ideally, you have a minimum of 1 year of experience in conducting Children’s Autism and ADHD assessments. We will consider candidates with at least 6 months of experience in a children’s Autism and ADHD assessment pathway. For Clinical Psychologists, pre-graduation experience can be included in the 6 months of required experience.

• Your experience with children’s Autism and ADHD should encompass:

• A solid understanding of typical development through various life stages, co-occurring conditions, and differential diagnoses.

• A good grasp of normal levels of attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity in typically developing children and young people, taking into account the cultural context of the individual being assessed.

• The capability to present findings in a client-centered manner that highlights strengths and needs.

• Demonstrable time management skills, including effective caseload management, along with strong communication skills with both parents and children.

• Successful completion of an enhanced DBS with barred list check, as work will involve children.

• Desired qualifications include:

• Experience with risk assessments in Neurodevelopmental evaluations.

• Safeguarding training at Level 3 or above.

• Total compensation ranges from £60,000 to £62,000 annually for HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Arts Therapists.

• Total compensation ranges from £66,000 to £68,000 annually for HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologists.

• Annual salary reviews to ensure competitiveness.

• 5% employer contribution to pension.
