This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Assist in executing and analyzing selective job tests within branches to minimize various risks that may affect the company's financial situation.
• This role will be responsible for identifying and analyzing current risks, as well as reducing the likelihood of their occurrence. This includes conducting various evaluations, such as comprehensive physical inventories and compliance assessments, as required by policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Prepare high-quality and timely inventory and compliance reports, as well as reports detailing findings, explaining risks, and recommending changes.
• Review financial data and information related to the branch operations being examined.
• Identify and analyze potential risk areas for branch assets.
• Conduct statistical and on-site analyses to identify and categorize risk.
• Assist in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Analyze recent changes within the company to update reports accordingly.
• Perform physical inventory counts of merchandise and review the proper functioning of goods.
• Review jewelry inventory and assess gold content.
• Reconcile inventory balances between the system and physical counts.
• Gather information to clarify discrepancies.
• Detect damaged or overvalued merchandise.
• Conduct cash counts in vaults and display cases.
• Review processes related to branches, pawn operations, and storage.
• Discuss review minutes with Store DMs where the rating is Approved.
• Ensure that review minutes are uploaded to digital backups (teams, CRS platform).
• Identify potential fake gold present in the stores.
• Update status changes in the POS2 system.
• Address incidents of theft, robbery, and break-ins reported at the branches.
• Cover weekend shifts for urgent case management that arises in the stores.
• Accurately record travel expenses in Workday.
• Conduct inventories in newly opened stores.
• Execute the multi-material checklist for Legal-Compliance.
• Analyze information from the BI Inventory Analysis / In-Transit platform.
• Validate and analyze alerts generated in the DATADOG platform from the EZ+ program.
• Support the management of mileage and fuel calculations for routes established by the Auditor Lead.
• Education: University degree, completed professional career.
• Minimum experience of 1 to 3 years in auditing, inventory management, pawn operations, or a similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive light vehicles.
• Must have a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within the national territory (Guatemala) using your own vehicle.
