• Manage and supervise the audit remediation team responsible for executing project tasks and fulfilling contract deliverables across ISS security and infrastructure support domains.
• Lead the evaluation of new audit findings, assign responsible resources, and develop corrective action plans with specified closure criteria.
• Coordinate remediation efforts for both internal and external audits, including iCFR, FISMA, GAO, and OIT Security assessments.
• Ensure that remediation evidence, status updates, and supporting documentation are thorough, timely, and prepared for SEC review.
• Oversee the identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution of vulnerabilities across endpoints and infrastructure.
• Guide teams in reviewing vulnerability reports, assessing severity and impact, and sequencing remediation efforts to mitigate mission risk.
• Monitor closure activities and enforce remediation deadlines, including KEV remediation within specified timeframes.
• Promote proactive enhancements in operational practices and standards to prevent the recurrence of vulnerabilities.
• Convert high-level work plans into detailed assignments, milestones, dependencies, and execution timelines.
• Monitor and track project progress, risks, issues, and performance gaps; provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and refine standards, SOPs, and governance procedures in line with SEC policy, change control, and federal compliance requirements.
• Maintain management reporting that offers clear visibility into remediation progress and overall risk posture.
• Provide daily leadership for cross-functional remediation initiatives involving engineers, security teams, and federal stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration sessions to align technical decisions, priorities, and deliverables prior to implementation.
• Establish quality expectations for work products and ensure consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across workstreams.
• Mentor team members on execution discipline, documentation quality, and escalation practices to achieve contract objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering).
• 8+ years of professional experience, including a minimum of 7 years managing and overseeing project details and deliverables.
• At least 3 years of experience managing projects related to vulnerability assessment for the federal government.
• Proven experience in managing and overseeing audit remediation project tasks and deliverables.
• Technical Skills: Managing and overseeing tasks and deliverables of the audit remediation team.
• Supporting vulnerability identification and remediation efforts in federal settings.
• Creating and establishing standards and procedures for project execution.
• Converting high-level work plans into detailed assignments for team members.
