Audit Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• The Audit Manager oversees the coordination of audit teams during fieldwork.

• Responsible for crafting audit reports and nurturing client relationships.

• Focused on developing audit business across all service lines of Mazars.

• Exhibiting an entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, and proactive thinking.

• Conducting independent work while coordinating team members effectively.

• Ensuring ongoing communication with colleagues and clients’ representatives.

• Preparing or validating documents intended for client delivery.

• Planning audit engagements and pinpointing potential risk areas.

• Guiding the audit teams on technical issues.

• Gathering client feedback on the audit team’s performance.

• Reviewing working papers created by the team for high-risk areas.

• Ensuring compliance with professional quality standards.

• Collaborating with engagement partners to address and mitigate risks.

• Identifying the needs of current or prospective clients and preparing proposals.

• Building strong working relationships with clients throughout audit assignments.

• Assessing the professional performance of team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in financial audit.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Effective planning and coordination abilities.

• Business-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in computer skills (MS Office).

• A collaborative team player.

• Eager to continually enhance their knowledge.

• Exceptional communication skills in Romanian and English (knowledge of French or German is a plus).

• Entrepreneurial approach.

• Previous experience in the financial services sector (insurance, banking, etc.) is advantageous.

• Possession of a professional qualification in accounting is also beneficial.
