Attorney – Workers Compensation Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Represent clients in defense cases related to workers' compensation from the initial claim through to resolution.

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings.

• Attend hearings and depositions to effectively advocate for clients.

• Analyze case details and create strategic defense plans customized for each case.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and collect essential information.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure thorough case management.

• Keep abreast of updates in workers' compensation laws and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized law school.

• Active California State Bar license in good standing.

• Over 3 years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related areas.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Team-oriented approach with a dedication to client advocacy.
