Attorney – Social Security Disability, ERISA Long Term Disability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Serve as a personal representative and manage a portfolio of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) claims, encompassing initial applications, appeals, and hearings.

• Oversee a caseload of ERISA Disability Insurance cases, which includes pre-litigation claims, appeals, and filings in federal court.

• Foster strong relationships with clients by providing compassionate legal services tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Address written and phone inquiries from clients promptly.

• Assess medical records, employment history, and vocational evidence to identify essential proof and formulate compelling arguments.

• Ensure effective communication and build personal connections with clients through mail, phone, and email.

• Mentor and supervise the legal support team as required.

• Stay proficient and updated in relevant laws to guarantee top-quality representation.

• Collaborate with medical experts and witnesses to enhance case arguments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the Bar in at least one state.

• Adequate experience in Social Security Disability practice, having managed at least 100 hearings.

• Exceptional legal writing abilities for composing appeals, briefs, and other case-related documents.
