This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold the comprehensive architecture of Atlassian Cloud, establishing standardized templates, reusable patterns, and user permissions across different business units.

• Oversee end-to-end migrations (Data Center and Cloud) or other toolchains to Atlassian Cloud.

• Assess, authorize, and supervise Atlassian Marketplace applications to ensure security, scalability, and operational suitability.

• Convert business and engineering requirements into organized workflows and effective automation rules to minimize manual friction.

• Develop traceability models that link requirements to delivery, testing, and operational transitions to ensure compliance with regulated SDLC practices.

• Act as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in Atlassian platform engineering, system administration, or solution architecture.

• Familiarity with identity integration/platforms such as Okta.

• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Atlassian Cloud functionalities, including Atlassian Guard and Advanced Roadmaps.

• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) workflows encompassing product management, QA, release management, and Agile methodologies.

• Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, and automation scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy/ScriptRunner).

• Recognized Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) credentials (like ACP-100 for Jira Administrator or ACP-600 for Cloud Organization) are highly regarded.

• Bonus Points: Security certifications.

• Experience with identity platforms.

• Knowledge in Rovo and Forge development.

• Background in enterprise architecture.
