This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the administration of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence within a cloud-based environment.
• Develop and sustain Jira projects, boards, workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and screens under the mentorship of senior team members.
• Set up and manage JSM service desk projects, including request types, queues, SLA configurations, and portal settings.
• Administer Confluence spaces, manage page permissions, templates, and basic macros to enhance team knowledge management.
• Conduct user and group management tasks, such as account creation, license assignments, group memberships, and access reviews.
• Address and fulfill Atlassian support requests from end users while ensuring SLA compliance within the team's JSM queue.
• Develop and uphold native Jira and JSM automation rules for standard workflows.
• Create and manage dashboards, saved filters, and basic reports to enhance visibility for the team and stakeholders.
• Act as the initial point of contact for Atlassian support inquiries, resolving common configuration and usage issues.
• Assist in tracking and reporting license usage to aid in renewal planning.
• 2–4 years of practical experience in Jira and Confluence administration within a corporate setting.
• Proficient understanding of Jira Software project types, workflows, permission schemes, and issue configuration.
• Experience in configuring and supporting Jira Service Management (JSM) service desk projects.
• Knowledge of Confluence space administration, page permissions, and content organization.
• Experience with native Jira automation rules.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capability to manage multiple simultaneous requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace applications (ScriptRunner, Elements Connect, or similar).
• Knowledge of Atlassian Intelligence or Rovo.
• Exposure to ITIL frameworks or service management best practices.
• Experience working with Atlassian Cloud (as opposed to Data Center/Server only).
