This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing key property performance indicators such as occupancy rates, rent collections, operating expenses, and capital requirements.
• Conduct property assessments and support ongoing evaluations to uncover potential opportunities or risks.
• Aid in routine property inspections, ensuring they align with operational strategies.
• Assist in the management of budgets, financial planning, and analyses to meet portfolio objectives.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance Net Operating Income (NOI).
• Provide support in the preparation of financial reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Help ensure that properties adhere to HUD, LIHTC, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Identify and assist in addressing risks, including physical, financial, and regulatory challenges.
• Partner with the AVP and property managers to implement operational strategies.
• Assist Development and Acquisitions teams with the seamless onboarding of properties.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in real estate, property management, or asset management, ideally in the affordable housing sector.
• Familiarity with affordable housing regulations, including HUD and LIHTC.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
