Associate Staff Engineer, SAP ABAP, EWM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Thoroughly comprehending functional requirements and analyzing the client's needs within the scope of the project.

• Imagining the overall solution for specified functional and non-functional requirements, and being capable of defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to implement it.

• Identifying and applying design methodologies and tool sets.

• Facilitating application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.

• Being able to lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production rollouts.

• Creating, understanding, and validating Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and estimated efforts for assigned modules/tasks, and being able to justify these estimates.

• Addressing issues promptly and responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Providing constructive feedback to team members and establishing clear expectations.

• Assisting the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex bugs.

• Proposing solutions to any issues that arise during code/design reviews and being able to justify the decisions made.

• Conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) to ensure that the proposed designs/technologies meet the requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Total experience: 4+ years.

• Must have strong experience in SAP ABAP development with substantial exposure to EWM-related developments.

• Should possess hands-on experience in RF developments, PPF framework, queue handling (qRFC), and EWM master data & transaction flows.

• Must have experience with IDocs (both custom and standard), BAPI/RFC development, and interfaces with SAP modules such as MM, SD, and TM.

• Should have expertise in reports, module pool programming, data dictionary (DDIC) enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements), and ALV (Object-Oriented & Classical).
