This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Assesses the responses of teacher candidates.
• Effectively assimilates training and the scoring guide.
• Engages in discussions.
• Must be able to set aside personal biases and apply the scoring guide according to rubric standards.
• Achieves the quality and productivity benchmarks set for the scoring program.
• Collaborates with other scorers in consensus scoring activities.
• Possess a teaching credential relevant to the content field, AND
• Currently teach or have taught within the past three years at the suitable grade level.
• Alternatively, serve or have served as a faculty member instructing courses attended by students enrolled in a teacher preparation program or district internship program.
• Or have a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree AND be a graduate student presently teaching courses in the content area.
• Must be a resident of Oklahoma or California with authorization to work in the United States.
• Possess basic computer proficiency (keyboard, mouse).
• Have the capability to participate in online meetings using a personal computer equipped with a web camera, microphone, and speakers.
• Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods.
• Maintain a confidential work environment.
• Compensation at a rate of $17.50/hour.
• Recently retired and current educators who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• All work is performed Monday through Friday between 8:00am-4:00pm PST.
• Sessions are one day long and occur five times a year.
• Training and review are included in each session.
