Associate Scientific Director, Medical Communications

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that all deliverables are based on evidence, strategically aligned, and executed to the highest standards of quality.

• Collaborate closely with a Scientific Director and Strategic Account Directors to convert client goals into impactful scientific content and programs.

• Direct medical writers, supervise the quality-control process, and assist in strategic planning across various projects.

• Engage directly with clients, authors, and key opinion leaders to help shape scientific narratives across different therapeutic areas.

• Contribute to content development, regulatory review, and advisory board planning while also identifying avenues for innovation and business growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, or PharmD).

• 2–3+ years of experience in a medical communications agency.

• Proven expertise in medical/scientific writing and content development.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a dynamic environment.

• Experience working with clients, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional teams.
