Associate Research Scientist – Quality Assurance Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• In the role of Quality Assurance Lead for the OPTN Patient Safety and Compliance task order, you will coordinate all quality assurance activities across various systems.

• Stay updated with contemporary quality assurance standards and methodologies.

• Advocate for automated testing and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Guide a team of quality assurance analysts in designing and executing software tests to detect issues.

• Supervise, create, and implement extensive automation test plans and test cases.

• Contribute to significant research initiatives and offer insights into new directions for current program areas.

• Engage in the successful submission of proposals for new research studies that enhance or expand Arbor Research's offerings.

• Provide both scientific and operational leadership for research endeavors.

• Represent Arbor Research by delivering seminars, presentations, and lectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MD, PhD, or master's degree, along with relevant experience in health services research, biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics, health policy, or related social science disciplines.

• Proven ability to excel in research, demonstrated through the development of specialized content-area expertise, leadership, or senior authorship on peer-reviewed publications, and/or invited presentations.

• Evidence of the potential to significantly contribute to research projects and to secure funding for new initiatives aligned with Arbor Research's mission.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel, including internationally, with several nights away from home each year.
