This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research and analyze compliance issues related to Property Tax, including tax due dates, depreciation schedules, jurisdictional addresses, electronic filing and payments, and changes in forms.
• Liaise with state and local jurisdictions to address any issues or irregularities.
• Perform basic research on client inquiries and provide concise summaries of findings.
• Diligently and proactively manage the Tax Resource Database, ensuring accuracy in address information, assessment ratios, depreciation tables, due dates, and other pertinent data.
• Address and resolve tickets generated through the Property Tax Research (PTR) JIRA Project.
• Promote collaboration among the Research, Training, Compliance, and Consulting teams.
• An Associate’s degree in a related field is required, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–1 years of experience in tax research, compliance, or related fields.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and comprehend legal documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Moderate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail is essential.
