Associate Principal Engineer, BPEL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement business processes and integration solutions based on BPEL.

• Create and maintain SOAP and REST services utilizing XML, XSD, and WSDL technologies.

• Construct and support integration flows using IBM Integration Designer (IID), IBM BPM/BAW, and IBM ACE/IIB.

• Deploy API management solutions with IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower.

• Integrate applications through IBM MQ, Kafka, and associated middleware.

• Engage in application modernization and migration projects, including Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

• Conduct troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of integration services.

• Assist in CI/CD automation and deployment processes.

• Work collaboratively with business, architecture, and development teams to deliver integration solutions.

• Develop technical documentation and offer technical guidance to stakeholders and team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 9 years of total experience.

• Extensive experience in IBM BPEL development and SOA-based integration solutions (Essential).

• Proficient hands-on experience with IBM Integration Designer (IID), IBM BPM/BAW, and IBM ACE/IIB (Essential).

• In-depth expertise in SOAP, REST, XML, XSD, and WSDL-based integrations (Essential).

• Experience with IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower, and API Management solutions (Essential).

• Strong understanding of enterprise application integration, service orchestration, and mediation flows.

• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as IBM MQ and Kafka.

• Proficient in Core Java, SQL, and scripting languages like Jython or Groovy.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub.

• Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
