Associate, Operations – Northeast TX/OK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Implement Team Rubicon’s strategy to improve our capacity for swift and localized disaster response.

• Cultivate and sustain partnerships with disaster assistance organizations at the state, county, and municipal levels.

• Assist in the delivery of leadership lifecycle programs, including the recruitment, onboarding, and development of Greyshirt volunteer leaders.

• Manage purchasing and expenses in accordance with the Branch budget plan and authorize events within the system.

• Provide emergency operations center (EOC) support as necessary, and coordinate disaster response efforts with relevant agencies.

• Offer direct assistance in coordinating response initiatives with local, state, federal, and non-governmental organizations.

• Aid in formulating and executing disaster response strategies, ensuring efficient resource deployment.

• Promote effective communication between field operations, the emergency operations center (EOC), and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of pertinent professional experience in military, disaster response, emergency management, or first responder sectors.

• Demonstrated history of personnel management, including recruiting, overseeing, training, and developing both employees and volunteers.

• Skilled in utilizing technology tools and adept at remote working to communicate and collaborate with a large network of TR staff, Greyshirts (volunteers), and external partners.

• A successful track record in volunteer leadership is highly valued.
