
Associate Medical Director – Clinical Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• External Representation: Act as a representative for Included Health at various conferences, seminars, and industry events, demonstrating our expertise in clinical navigation, virtual care, care management, and building connections with potential clients and partners.
• Educational Sessions: Create and present engaging educational sessions for healthcare professionals, clients, and the general public on relevant topics concerning general health and well-being.
• Sales Support: Partner with the sales team to emphasize the value of our clinical services during client meetings, aiding in upsell opportunities and improving client satisfaction.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with existing clients to grasp their general health management needs, provide strategic advice, and address any issues or concerns in a prompt and effective manner.
• Implementation Support: Assist in the formulation and execution of strategies for new clients launching services such as clinical navigation, virtual care, care management, All-Included Care (AIC), and/or utilization management (UM).
• Escalation Support: Aid in managing client escalations, offering timely intervention, and working with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and satisfactorily.
• Patient Care: Capable of providing clinical navigation services and/or virtual care as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Physician (MD/DO) with a minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience. Must hold a valid license in good standing in your state of residence throughout your employment and maintain board certification in your primary specialty.
• Clinical Experience: Proven high-quality clinical experience with a solid understanding of general health principles and best practices. Preference will be given to applicants who can address a diverse range of medical conditions.
• Project/Program Management: Demonstrated experience in project or program management, with the capability to coordinate and oversee multiple initiatives at once.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex medical concepts in a straightforward and succinct manner.
• Relationship Building: Track record of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of clinical initiatives that enhance value for both Included Health and our clients.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Patient Care: Capable of delivering clinical navigation services and/or virtual care when managing escalations.
• Availability: Willingness to work outside of standard business hours and travel as needed based on business requirements and client engagements, with an expected travel frequency of up to twice a month for 1-2 days each (averaged over the year), occasionally on short notice.
