This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Carry out daily processing of grant recommendations, ensuring that all entries are precise, compliant, and completed within the specified timeframe.
• Perform due diligence on grantees to confirm their eligibility, utilizing resources such as GuideStar, IRS Publication 78, and other research tools.
• Review and update the electronic payment information for grantee organizations upon request.
• Collaborate with the team to assist in weekly grant approvals and the processing of grant letters.
• Identify and escalate any process issues or errors for prompt resolution.
• Ensure that all grant documentation is thoroughly completed and accurately recorded in the DAF system.
• Provide processing assistance for special grant categories, including international grants.
• Support the processing and documentation of grant payments within the DAF system, ensuring that records remain accurate and up-to-date.
• Address donor and advisor inquiries related to grant processing in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage additional research, special requests, and ad hoc responsibilities as necessary.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; a minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations, finance, data entry, or client service roles; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience with donor-advised funds and grantmaking best practices is preferred.
• A basic understanding of grantmaking processes, DAF operations, and financial services; a willingness to deepen expertise over time.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; ability to prioritize competing tasks in a deadline-driven setting.
• A resourceful and investigative approach, with a readiness to research questions and escalate issues when necessary.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with donors, advisors, and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams is required.
• Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Box and Asana is preferred.
• Experience working in a remote environment.
