This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a proactive legal advisor to business leaders, offering practical and actionable insights that foster growth while effectively managing risk.
• Engage directly in significant business decisions—showing ownership, accountability, and a commitment to “put skin in the game.”
• Simplify intricate legal and regulatory requirements into understandable business guidance.
• Provide counsel on U.S. regulatory issues affecting FHS, including medical device and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to FDA and pertinent regulatory frameworks.
• Assist in regulatory strategy, investigations, audits, and internal compliance initiatives.
• Offer expert advice on U.S. employment law, closely collaborating with HR on employee relations, investigations, and policy formulation.
• Aid executive leadership and HR on sensitive issues like terminations, disputes, and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse array of commercial agreements (customers, suppliers, partners).
• Provide legal assistance on strategic transactions, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.
• Contribute to corporate governance, contract management, and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee and mitigate legal risks throughout the organization.
• Support litigation strategies and supervise external counsel as necessary.
• (Preferred) Previous experience as a U.S. litigator or managing litigation cases.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in a U.S. bar.
• Extensive legal experience (in a law firm and/or in-house), with a strong focus on U.S.-based practices.
• Preferred background in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with FDA or equivalent regulatory environments.
• Bonus: prior experience as a U.S. litigator.
