This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create dynamic, learner-focused curricula for executive education programs aimed at state and local government leaders.
• Utilize best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles to develop exceptional learning experiences across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
• Produce participant materials, facilitator guides, presentations, case studies, simulations, assessments, and various other educational resources.
• Simplify complex policy, procurement, and operational concepts into engaging and actionable learning experiences.
• Enhance existing programs through participant feedback, facilitator observations, and learning analytics.
• Work collaboratively with partners, practitioners, and subject matter experts to create relevant, evidence-based content.
• Conduct interactive workshops, peer learning events, and virtual training sessions for government leaders.
• Foster inclusive learning environments that promote participation, discussion, and practical application.
• Lead small-group activities, simulations, coaching sessions, and debriefs that enrich participant learning.
• Adjust facilitation techniques in real-time based on audience needs and group dynamics.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high quality and adherence to deadlines.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in designing and facilitating executive education programs, workshops, professional education, conferences, or other learning experiences for adult professional audiences.
• Experience in state or local government or in a role involving significant collaboration or interaction with government agencies.
• Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capacity to facilitate engaging discussions with senior leaders and professional audiences.
• Exceptional written communication and presentation development abilities.
• Direct experience with public procurement, contract management, or support for procurement functions is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with government operations, budgeting, finance, contracting, organizational change, or related public sector functions is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Willingness to travel approximately 6–8 times per year.
