Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Hematology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Thought Leader Liaison will be responsible for delivering results in three primary areas: Supporting Brand Strategic Initiatives, Engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Advocacy Development, and Managing Communications, both internally and externally.

• Serve as a member of the cross-functional brand team(s) to provide insights on strategy, messaging, tactical execution, and innovative programming ideas and concepts.

• Facilitate the planning, recruitment, and execution of regional and national advisory boards, gathering feedback to inform brand decisions.

• Identify, align, and recruit suitable healthcare professional (HCP) consultants to engage based on the needs outlined by brand team leaders to achieve the organizational objectives for each project.

• Collaborate effectively and mobilize all necessary resources.

• Identify, profile, and nurture long-term relationships with KOLs.

• Attend National/Regional hematology-oncology events and all multiple myeloma congresses.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to orchestrate resources with leading KOLs as identified by the Brand Team through influence and centers of excellence mapping.

• Create and implement communications strategies aligned with the brand team, providing competitive intelligence and insights gained from interactions to shape brand strategy.

• Manage regional congresses, serving as the primary liaison to the home office for budgeting, contracting, coordination, attendance, follow-through, and KOL meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Thought Leader Liaison in Hematology-oncology or rare diseases.

• Additional experience in product marketing or medical/clinical roles within the same or related therapeutic area in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is also required.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams towards a unified vision of success.

• Proficient in presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups, tailoring presentations to the audience's needs.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Extensive project management experience, including exceptional analytical and planning skills.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to execute strategic and tactical plans within tight timelines.

• Willingness to travel for meetings, training, and programs as required.

• Valid driver’s license.
