This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Associate Director of Management Consulting at Guidehouse's State and Local Government Practice oversees delivery teams engaged in high-impact projects for State & Local Government clients and leads business development initiatives.
• Developing strategies to collect information from clients related to structure, processes, technology, and culture.
• Conducting meetings with client stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Ensuring quality control for project outputs and deliverables in line with Guidehouse's quality standards.
• Utilizing Guidehouse frameworks and best practices to identify and implement program enhancements for clients.
• Efficiently managing project resources to achieve objectives while offering regular feedback and mentoring.
• Leading business development efforts, including responses to RFPs, proposal creation, and participation in account planning.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in the State/Local Health and Human Services industry.
• Experience in delivering HHS projects, including but not limited to Integrated Eligibility, Child Support, Child Welfare, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS), and/or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Familiarity with core and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated success in delivering client solutions and achieving significant technology outcomes in the HHS sector.
• Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Expertise in Government Procurement: Understanding of the HHS procurement lifecycle, including experience in crafting persuasive RFP/RFI responses, contract vehicles, and state-specific procurement processes.
• Willingness to travel for meetings as necessary.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident.
• Candidates must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST must be obtained before onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY.
