This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Take the lead in developing exceptional social media strategies and content plans, ensuring that feedback, strategic consultation, and social media management are executed at a high standard.
β’ Provide guidance to clients and teams regarding social media strategies and challenges, offering valuable insights prior to implementation.
β’ Serve as the primary social media subject matter expert, delivering expertise on platform capabilities, specifications, and functionalities for both clients and external stakeholders.
β’ Generate and enhance new strategies, ideas, and services to broaden the agency's social media and strategic offerings.
β’ Direct teams through social listening initiatives.
β’ Support omnichannel and engagement strategy efforts, ensuring social media is effectively integrated into the client's omnichannel approach.
β’ Advise clients and teams on the best practices for social media execution, demonstrating extensive knowledge of platform functionalities, formats, trends, and both organic and paid content across leading social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and YouTube.
β’ Remain informed about the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing to sustain a competitive advantage.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in the health, biotech, or pharmaceutical sectors.
β’ Proven experience in developing and presenting strategic social media plans across various platforms, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest, with a solid grasp of both organic and paid content.
β’ Demonstrated success in expanding social media business with current clients and participating in pitches for new business opportunities.
β’ Experience in mentoring junior team members.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of FDA and FTC regulations concerning social media in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
β’ Background in client service within an agency environment, with experience collaborating in integrated teams.
β’ Proficient with social monitoring and measurement tools, accompanied by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, or communications.
