Associate Director – Pharmacometrician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• **Your primary duties will encompass, but are not restricted to:**

• Lead and execute population pharmacokinetic analyses employing advanced modeling techniques and methodologies.

• Create and apply innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency and precision of pharmacokinetic analyses.

• Design, evaluate, and interpret clinical pharmacology studies (renal, hepatic, TQT, ADME, DDI, BE/BA, SAD, MAD, etc.) and offer guidance to optimize PK sampling and dosing strategies.

• Provide strategic counsel to clients, take charge of deliverables, and formulate clinical pharmacology plans.

• Draft and review pharmacokinetic reports and the clinical pharmacology sections of regulatory documents.

• Represent clients in communications with regulatory bodies and assist in business development and relationship management.

⛳️ Requirements

• **For success in this role, we seek the following qualifications and characteristics:**

• A degree in life sciences, healthcare, and/or business administration.

• A minimum of 6 to 10 years of pertinent professional experience, including drug development, clinical pharmacology, and pharmacometrics.

• Regulatory experience, particularly in the preparation of regulatory reports, is crucial. Experience with regulatory submissions, such as Investigational New Drug (IND) applications, Clinical Trial Applications (CTA), regulatory meetings, and marketing authorization submissions (NDA/BLA/MAA).

• Proficiency in NONMEM, Pirana, and R is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and financial management abilities.
