Associate Director, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversees the reporting, analysis, and interpretation of financial and operational data for senior management, including cost analysis, ROI, and profitability assessments by line of business.

• Enhances operating metrics and KPIs while developing a reporting infrastructure and schedule that fosters actionable insights; conveys essential findings to senior business leaders.

• Formulates and manages financial planning strategies, controls, comparisons, and recommendations to support both short-term and long-term business goals.

• Guides the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure precision and alignment with business objectives.

• Provides high-level financial analysis for prospective investments, product launches, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic business initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least five years of experience within the finance sector; preferably in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).

• Proven experience in developing scalable financial planning, analysis, and reporting models and processes to support company growth.

• Ability to model and synthesize complex financial, operational, and KPI data into clear presentations and decision frameworks on a regular basis.

• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and databases.

• Experience with a private equity-backed business is preferred but not mandatory.
