Associate Director – Clinical Operations, Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional consulting services to clients within the Guidehouse Healthcare Payer and Provider Practice.

• Offer expertise in the healthcare sector and management consulting support throughout client engagements.

• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.

• Recognize critical issues and create tailored, practical solutions for clients.

• Ensure delivery assurance across projects, maintaining quality, consistency, and alignment with stakeholders.

• Guide and mentor team members on client projects and within account teams.

• Exhibit strong leadership both within the account and across the broader practice.

• Lead consulting initiatives to achieve contractual outcomes, project timelines, and fulfill executive expectations by influencing key stakeholders and decision-makers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required; a nursing or other clinical degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Over 7 years of experience in hospital operations, including clinical operations, performance improvement, labor and non-labor optimization, physician operations, or provider-focused financial operations.

• Comprehensive understanding of hospital and health system operations.

• Proficient in benchmarking and analyzing data to redesign operational processes, enhance efficiency, and establish standardized practices.

• Capable of conducting research, interpreting analytics, and formulating actionable recommendations; proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

• Experience in consulting with a focus on delivering complex, multi-site operational changes and clinical improvement programs under tight deadlines.

• Strong skills in client leadership and business development, including the identification of opportunities and promotion of additional services.

• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time.
