This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• The Associate Director plays a crucial role in enabling Acumen to fulfill its mission of promoting freedom, choice, and opportunity through innovative fiscal agent solutions.
• This position is responsible for supporting the Executive Director in representing Acumen to all stakeholders across Texas.
• Engagement occurs at every level, including collaboration with state partners, local program staff, and, most importantly, our clients.
• The role may involve managing direct reports and associated supervisory duties.
• The professionalism, work ethic, and standards exhibited in this position will significantly influence the company’s reputation and ongoing success.
• Oversee a team, which includes both direct and indirect responsibilities such as interviewing, selecting, training, motivating, conducting performance evaluations, managing wage and salary administration, and developing objectives and procedures to ensure goal achievement.
• Stay informed about program rules, regulations, and implementation needs while being able to effectively communicate and clarify these rules to both external and internal stakeholders.
• Assist clients (employers and employees) during their enrollment process; manage related paperwork and electronic communication, which necessitates precise data entry into various databases and adherence to deadlines.
• Provide prompt and accurate day-to-day support to clients; receive, investigate, and resolve all client inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to investigate billing issues and claims.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including managing all escalated issues with client families and state entities.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Electronic Visit Verification, including member adoption campaigns and ensuring data aggregation accuracy.
• Coordinate with other FMS contractors and the program training contractor regarding member referrals, transfers, training requirements, and customer service responses.
• Analyze trends and address customer inquiries related to specific program or contract regulations/guidelines.
• Organize, structure, and schedule one-on-one or group training sessions to fulfill customer needs.
• Represent Acumen publicly at events such as conferences, trade shows, forums, stakeholder groups, and pre-bidders, which may require public speaking to effectively market products to the general public.
• Provide feedback from public events regarding Acumen's brand acceptance, reputation, and customer satisfaction.
• Report program statistics and information to key stakeholders through survey results and regular reporting as needed.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule, including weekends, weeknights, and holidays as required.
• Perform additional work-related activities as assigned.
