This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement key strategic initiatives to support CSL Seqirus in meeting or surpassing specific sales volume, revenue, and profitability objectives.
• Direct CSL Seqirus engagements with all payers.
• Cultivate and strengthen multi-level and senior relationships to establish a foundation for effectively communicating the CSL Seqirus narrative.
• Assess the payer access and reimbursement landscape (medical & drug) for both immediate and long-term goals.
• Offer insights based on analysis to drive organizational change.
• Apply a pareto mentality to devise strategies and tactics that ensure positive transformation.
• Tailor a specific approach for each payer to most effectively influence change.
• Provide timely feedback concerning account interactions and subsequent steps.
• Build and nurture relationships with key individuals to facilitate market access for CSL Seqirus vaccines, fostering a favorable environment for pull-through at national, regional, and local provider levels.
• Design and support key programs addressing customer needs, enhancing the perceived value of CSL Seqirus.
• Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the value of the CSL Seqirus Customer Experience vision; serve as the customer voice to internal stakeholders to enhance Seqirus’ understanding of customer challenges; develop and implement business solutions that strengthen CSL Seqirus’ partnerships within primary channels.
• Provide expertise to the organization as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding reimbursement on both national and regional levels, ensuring CSL Seqirus products have market access across all National and selected Regional health plans and PBMs.
• Maintain effective strategies to address coverage issues by quickly connecting with key payer decision-makers for resolution.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bolster CSL Seqirus’ market position.
• Identify growth opportunities for CSL Seqirus and guide the organization to implement them efficiently.
• Monitor the external environment at key trade and customer events/conferences.
• Coordinate customer and internal sales training as required.
• Advocate for the CSL Seqirus product portfolio to key customers, fostering differentiation and successful long-term business relationships.
• Partner with relevant CSL Seqirus business teams, marketing, and medical affairs to ensure alignment and optimal resource utilization at the account level. This includes leveraging marketing materials, executing in-services, and developing and implementing marketing or other service agreements.
• Utilize available resources to enhance regional account management and collaborate with Marketing teams to create pull-through plans and value-added service offerings.
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Health Policy, or Life Sciences.
• AAPC coding courses or equivalent are a plus.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry.
• More than 5 years of experience in the vaccine payer domain.
• Experience working with US payers.
• Familiarity with billing/coding for both buy & bill products (medical) and pharmacy billing PBM (drug benefit) is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid, particularly in relation to Influenza vaccine coverage and payment.
• Proven track record in successful account management and executing national strategies.
• Demonstrated success in GPO, health system, retail, wholesaler/distributor vaccine reimbursement compared to general Pharma.
