Associate Dean of Compliance, Post-Licensure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic partner and trusted leader in steering compliance, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives across nursing programs.

• Oversee and interpret regulatory requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.

• Suggest and implement updates to policies to maintain ongoing compliance.

• Foster a culture of ethics, accountability, and professional standards.

• Co-facilitate accreditation processes (CCNE, ACEN, state boards) together with the Dean of Nursing.

• Prepare self-studies, reports, and documentation for program evaluations.

• Create action plans that enhance outcomes and uphold accreditation.

• Ensure the curriculum stays current, evidence-based, and in alignment with licensure standards.

• Collaborate with faculty to align outcomes with national and state expectations.

• Utilize student performance data to consistently improve program delivery.

• Guide compliance processes concerning licensure, background checks, and clinical readiness.

• Confirm that faculty meet credentialing and licensure requirements.

• Act as a mentor and resource for navigating accreditation and compliance processes.

• Collaborate with clinical partners to secure high-quality placements.

• Ensure that simulation and lab experiences adhere to regulatory and educational standards.

• Supervise continuous quality improvement efforts.

• Monitor key metrics such as retention, graduation, and NCLEX outcomes.

• Transform data into actionable improvements that enhance student success.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred)

• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing education

• Active, unencumbered RN license (Utah or Compact)

• Extensive knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards (CCNE, ACEN, state boards)

• Experience in leading accreditation reviews and quality improvement initiatives

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities

• A commitment to building partnerships and fostering student success
