Associate Data Scientist – Originations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, refine, and deploy models in a production setting aimed at forecasting outcomes in sports.

• Train machine learning models and create statistical modeling frameworks utilizing custom methods or tools like xgboost, sklearn, pytorch, etc.

• Oversee SQL queries to guarantee that data pipelines are efficient, accurate, and current.

• Conduct thorough backtesting of models to ensure highly precise predictions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of projects that are either centered on sports or involve creating innovative machine learning solutions.

• Strong technical or mathematical/statistical foundation, including backgrounds in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, economics, etc.

• Proficient coding skills with the capability to develop independently of AI tools - specifically in Python and SQL.

• Genuine interest in sports betting, prediction markets, financial markets, or fantasy sports.

• Established ability to create complex models beyond basic templates.

• Deep enthusiasm for sports, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the particulars of several sports rather than just a casual interest.
