Associate Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing user permissions across various tools and systems, including AWS IAM.

• Contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of our security tools, such as endpoint protection solutions and infrastructure monitoring systems that safeguard our cloud environment and internal operations.

• Support the monitoring of security alerts and the investigation of unusual incidents.

• Evaluate infrastructure-related Terraform pull requests to ensure that new resources are securely deployed and adhere to cloud security best practices.

• Keep track of relevant security advisories and threat intelligence feeds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Some familiarity with AWS or other major cloud providers (Azure, GCP), particularly IAM principles and permission management.

• Fundamental knowledge of networking, operating systems, or cloud infrastructure.

• Interest in or exposure to security operations or incident monitoring.

• Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

• Exposure to containerization or Kubernetes concepts.

• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

• A keen interest in security engineering and a commitment to ongoing learning.

• (AMAZING IF YOU ALSO HAVE):

• Practical AWS experience from a DevOps, platform, or cloud engineering perspective.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes security principles.

• Experience in threat hunting or detection engineering.

• Understanding of web application or API security.

• Significant experience with Terraform.
