This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Review, revise, and update assigned materials based on scheduled and initiated review cycles, alongside customer requirements and current healthcare developments such as guideline revisions under the supervision of a Clinical Editor.
• Ensure that content is precise, evidence-supported, and complies with current clinical practice guidelines and standards.
• Assist in editing and refreshing assigned materials according to predetermined review cycles.
• Oversee assigned projects, guaranteeing that deadlines are adhered to and quality is upheld.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address content needs and respond to fundamental clinical inquiries from Customer Success and Service under the direction of a Clinical Editor.
• Assist with the JIRA ticket process.
• Participate actively in team meetings.
• Keep updated on news from relevant professional organizations and governing bodies concerning nursing practice.
• Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Patient Engagement leadership team.
• Must be a Registered Nurse holding an unencumbered license.
• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a higher qualification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience is necessary.
• Prior experience in authoring or writing content is highly favored.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in healthcare-related quality, practice, and regulatory standards.
• Experience in developing educational materials is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with learner-centered or adult-learning principles is essential.
• Working knowledge of health literacy and plain language principles is required.
• Excellent research skills and the ability to stay informed on nursing and healthcare advancements are necessary.
• Strong writing abilities with a clear, concise style, along with excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.
• Strong collaborative abilities and effectiveness in a team-oriented environment are required.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to identify and evaluate evidence, determine the highest-quality evidence, and analyze, synthesize, and apply it when creating, reviewing, and updating content.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be open to utilizing generative AI to enhance work processes and improve efficiency.
• Able to work independently from home during standard daytime hours, approximately 9am to 5pm ET.
