This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of Performance Trust’s capital allocation methodology and assist the CIA team in enhancing adherence to it.
• Convert raw data into actionable insights that facilitate informed capital allocation across various scenarios and over time.
• Conduct analysis of large and complex data sets utilizing financial, statistical, and analytical techniques.
• Interpret findings and communicate their implications to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve analytical frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and implement new resources.
• Perform primary and secondary research on financial institutions, markets, and industry trends.
• Contribute content for firm-wide educational events, client calls, presentations, and communications.
• Translate analysis into both written and verbal recommendations.
• Partner with the Balance Sheet Strategy and Investment Banking teams to educate clients and prospects.
• Aid in the creation and delivery of messaging focused on market insights and strategy.
• Assist in strategy development for Custom Strategy Sessions and other client initiatives.
• Develop client-ready content, presentations, and materials for events.
• Participate in and support client education programs and events, including Custom Strategy Sessions and Survive or Thrive.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal partners, clients, prospects, and external stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a concentration in finance, economics, statistics, data analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant post-college experience in financial services, banking, credit unions, consulting, data analysis, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience working with financial institutions, particularly community banks or credit unions.
• Ability to connect financial concepts with data-driven analysis.
• Proficiency in analyzing large data sets and constructing, interpreting, and explaining complex financial models.
• CFA designation or progress toward the CFA designation is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to speak confidently, present to groups, and convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience in creating client-facing content, presentations, educational materials, or event content is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
• An entrepreneurial, self-directed mindset; comfortable creating structure, owning deliverables, seeking feedback remotely, and working independently.
• Intellectual curiosity with a willingness to challenge the status quo and translate analysis into practical action.
• A keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to events as necessary.
