This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and manage all nursing operations within both production and evaluation settings, ensuring a high standard of quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Develop and uphold clinical protocols, workflows, and quality standards that comply with regulatory guidelines and Hippocratic AI's commitments to patient safety.
• Evaluate team performance, promote continuous improvement, and foster a culture of clinical excellence and accountability.
• Act as a clinical liaison to engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams. Translate nursing expertise into technical requirements, shape the AI training data strategy, and support enterprise sales cycles with clinical credibility.
• Represent the company publicly, including participation at national nursing conferences, engaging in media and public speaking opportunities, and publishing insights on the future of AI and nursing operations, enhancing the company’s reputation as the most trusted clinical partner in AI-enabled nursing.
• Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to provide a nursing perspective in customer meetings and executive interactions, demonstrating clinical expertise with confidence and authority.
• Work alongside sales, customer success, and clinical teams to comprehend client needs, address nursing-related inquiries, and build trust with health system partners.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on nursing practices, workflows, and scope of care within various clinical settings.
• Assist prospective and current clients in understanding how Hippocratic AI's technology integrates with existing nursing and clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to convert nursing knowledge and operational insights into product requirements and feature priorities.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of nursing-specific AI capabilities, ensuring clinical accuracy, appropriate scope, and practical usability.
• Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer on mapping and designing the nurse co-pilot product, defining use cases, interaction patterns, and clinical guardrails in collaboration with the product team.
• Lead ongoing discovery efforts with CNOs, nurse managers, and bedside nurses. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of care model economics, workforce dynamics, documentation burdens, and scope-of-practice constraints that influence product-market fit.
• Collaborate with client health systems to innovate nursing operational models—including staffing ratios, acuity-based assignments, shift handoff, and escalation protocols—enhanced by the company’s AI platform.
• Establish and lead a nursing transformation practice, including playbooks, embedded implementation resources, and outcome measurement frameworks that empower health systems to sustain change post-deployment. Ensure internal nursing operations align with this model and act as an extension of transformational change.
• Create a robust outcomes architecture by defining success criteria, designing for measurability during development, and reporting on clinical and operational impacts that validate the product narrative.
• Active RN license in good standing; a BSN is required.
• 10+ years of nursing leadership experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in diverse care settings, including managing a virtual workforce.
• Direct P&L responsibility across multiple cost centers or operational lines is necessary.
• Leadership experience in nursing operations with accountability for P&L management.
• Proven experience collaborating directly with non-clinical functions such as product, engineering, data science, sales, or customer success.
• Demonstrated ability to design or scale a clinical implementation, quality improvement, or workflow transformation program—not merely managing within an existing framework.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey clinical perspectives to senior stakeholders and external clients.
• Strong analytical skills and the capability to translate complex clinical concepts into operational and product requirements.
• Experience in establishing or enhancing clinical protocols, workflows, or quality improvement initiatives.
• A proven track record of operational transformation within health systems.
• Ability to operate effectively across clinical, technical, and executive environments.
