Associate Category Leader – EMEA Packaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop supplier strategies, focusing on the management and optimization of supplier panels.

• Lead negotiations and assign specific needs to appropriate suppliers.

• Negotiate terms and conditions and relay information to the Procurement team.

• Oversee claims management.

• Conduct commercial sourcing management, including data analysis and negotiation support.

• Undertake purchasing activities as necessary.

• Implement functional policy and strategy by leveraging prior experience and expertise.

• Engage with colleagues and the business regarding design and coordination services provided.

• Offer informal guidance to new team members.

• Clarify complex information to others in straightforward scenarios.

• Influence projects, processes, and procedures within the procurement domain.

• Utilize technical expertise, judgment, analytical skills, and internal resources to address challenges and make informed decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in sourcing.

• Proficient in all seven steps of sourcing.

• Fluent in English.

• Exceptional skills in building business partnerships.

• Knowledge of ERP systems and/or Power BI.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven capability to analyze and resolve issues.

• Competence in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Established skills in project management.
