Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and managing a substantial and varied caseload of the Firm’s clients located in Virginia.

• Engaging with clients to discuss their individual cases.

• Preparing pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, as well as reviewing and drafting agreements, among other tasks.

• Coordinating with opposing parties to negotiate and settle claims.

• Conducting legal research on both straightforward and intricate matters in contract law and other domains of consumer law.

• Although this position is primarily remote, occasional travel may be necessary for court appearances.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be currently licensed to practice law in Virginia (admission in multiple states is a significant advantage).

• At least 1 year of pertinent experience within a law firm.

• Must demonstrate exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to adhere to strict deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capability to collaborate comfortably with senior management and staff at all organizational levels.

• Proficient legal research skills, with familiarity in LexisNexis being a plus.
