Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and managing a substantial and varied caseload for the Firm's clients in Mississippi.

• Engaging with clients regarding their individual matters.

• Preparing pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing and drafting agreements, among other tasks.

• Interacting with opposing parties to negotiate and settle claims.

• Conducting legal research on both simple and complex issues pertaining to contract law and other facets of consumer law.

• Although this position is primarily remote, occasional travel for court appearances may be necessary.

• Must be currently licensed to practice law in Mississippi.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a law firm setting.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to adhere to strict deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and staff at all levels within the organization.

• Proficient legal research skills; familiarity with LexisNexis is an advantage.
