Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and managing a substantial and varied caseload of the Firm’s clients located in Florida.

• Engaging with clients regarding their individual matters.

• Preparing pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing & drafting agreements, among other tasks.

• Interacting with opposing parties to negotiate and settle claims.

• Conducting legal research related to both simple and complex issues in contract law and other facets of consumer law.

• Although this position is primarily remote, occasional travel for court appearances may be necessary.

• Must hold a current license to practice law in Florida.

• At least 1 year of pertinent experience at a law firm is required.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to adhere to tight deadlines.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with senior management and staff at all levels across the organization.

• Proficient legal research skills; familiarity with LexisNexis is advantageous.
