This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in project scoping and problem identification through various activities, including quantitative analysis, interviews, surveys, focus groups, process mapping, and policy assessments.
• Collaborate with government officials to create ambitious and impactful projects, guided by data and a well-defined theory of change.
• Design and execute daily project deliverables, which include problem diagnosis reports, prototype/pilot project roadmaps and workplans, ongoing steering committee updates, and engaging training materials.
• Oversee daily change management and implementation processes.
• Conduct meetings and workshops with government and nonprofit stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities, facilitate project work, and resolve challenges.
• Provide coaching and advisory support to government partners.
• Conduct internal and external project check-ins and strategic assessments.
• Offer direct assistance in transforming government concepts into tangible yet ambitious interventions or solutions to tackle core issues.
• Aid in funder reporting and contribute to fundraising initiatives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with government leaders, nonprofit collaborators, government technology firms, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.
• Participate in the creation of public-facing tools, templates, and publications that promote best practices and innovations in public sector operational excellence.
• Represent PPG at conferences and events, sharing insights from project initiatives.
• Provide feedback to internal operational improvement efforts and support initiatives to expand and enhance PPG’s offerings and impact.
• A bachelor's degree is required; equivalent years of professional experience and/or certifications may be accepted in place of formal education.
• A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in areas such as government operations, policy implementation, consulting, or innovation-driven initiatives.
• Experience in problem diagnosis, project design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, including effective coaching and meeting facilitation, or change management within complex organizations.
• A demonstrated understanding of public procurement processes, government operations, or regulatory frameworks at the state or local level is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary, up to eight times a year.
