This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.
• The Associate Account Manager will be tasked with actively managing and nurturing relationships with current customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services within a designated territory.
• This role involves making outbound calls and handling inbound communications to maintain business with Republic Services’ smaller, less complex commercial and industrial clientele.
• Enhance the penetration within the existing customer base by promoting the complete range of Republic Services offerings.
• Successfully preserve and retain current customers by proactively reaching out to them on a daily basis.
• Acquire and uphold a comprehensive understanding of the Company's available services, various lines of business, and pricing structures.
• Address all cancellation requests in accordance with the established escalation policy.
• Engage in proactive communication or response to customers to support company pricing strategies.
• Utilize Salesforce consistently to schedule and document all activities, including calls, meetings, and proposals.
• Regularly confer with the Sales Manager to assess weekly customer retention efforts, relationship activities, progress towards goals, and the status of key customer relationships.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• 0 - 2 years of customer service experience is required.
• Experience in the waste or transportation industry is preferred.
