This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Foster a positive relationship with retailers as a trusted category advisor in all aspects of the Beer industry.
• Create compelling category analyses and consumer insights utilizing a variety of syndicated and non-syndicated data sources.
• Integrate findings from multiple sources to craft clear and impactful selling narratives in a visually engaging format using PowerPoint.
• Effectively inform both internal teammates and external customers about growth opportunities through clear and persuasive communication.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to engage the external retailer buying team within designated territories, aiming to uncover opportunities for expanding the Beer category.
• Utilize space planning software to optimize the merchandising of the beer department in alignment with category and retailer strategies.
• Bachelor's Degree - strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and organization.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for structuring and visualizing presentation narratives.
• Capability to comprehend information, develop insights, and identify opportunities when analyzing extensive data sets.
• Ability to distill findings and recommendations into a concise and impactful selling narrative.
• Competence to confidently present insights, opportunities, and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders in a convincing manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Category Management or Sales within the consumer packaged goods sector.
• Familiarity with syndicated data, software, and metrics (Circana/IRI, Nielsen, etc.).
• Experience with dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, or Spotfire.
• Background in shelf management and planogram creation (JDA, Apollo, etc.).
• Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of tasks and drives results.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
