This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee logistics, staffing, and exercise support within the designated operational area.
• Organize pre-exercise planning, manage activities during execution, and facilitate post-exercise wrap-up.
• Provide assistance to WVNG Joint Staff, WVNG J37, WVNG J3 Joint Operations Center, and the WVNG Ridge Runner Program.
• Aid in the planning and development of materials for IPC, MPC, FPC, and Ridge Runner exercises.
• Act as a liaison between international and domestic exercise participants as well as external stakeholders, including government entities.
• Assist in lane setup, logistical management, and the execution of on-site training lanes.
• Collaborate with local business owners, city officials, and landowners to gain access to infrastructure and placement.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement, emergency management, and medical services to ensure exercise integration and safety.
• Distribute event notifications and provide assistance with MOUs and LOUs.
• Offer on-site support for lane safety management and scenario execution.
• Contribute to the delivery of Irregular Warfare training and program awareness through both classroom and online instruction, course preparation, and coordination.
• Manage scheduling, correspondence, record keeping, meeting support, and documentation management.
• Handle foreign visit requests and facilitate access to military installations for international Ridge Runner participants.
• Minimum of 3 years of administrative or operational support experience for senior leaders in fast-paced or mission-oriented environments.
• Prior experience in military, law enforcement, executive, or field operations is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to manage calendars, coordinate travel, track logistics, and support intricate schedules accurately.
• Experience in handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Strong comprehension of operational security (OPSEC) and information protection principles.
• Proficient in effective communication across diverse teams and cultures.
• Ability to interact with high-level executives as well as ground-level personnel.
• Capacity to anticipate needs, proactively resolve issues, and adapt to last-minute changes.
• High school diploma required.
• Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Availability for pre-exercise planning calls and on-site execution.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment without supervision.
• Capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Full-time work schedule from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as necessary.
• Option for remote work arrangements.
