This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Assist in the grading and management of courses delivered remotely under the Universal Learner initiative.
• Provide support to faculty in assessing learner performance in online courses.
• Offer constructive feedback and evaluate learner activities and assignments.
• Monitor and assess submitted assignments.
• Aid learners in overcoming challenges within Universal Learner Courses.
• Address learner difficulties via course Discussion boards.
• Oversee and participate in activities on Discussion boards.
• Conduct live sessions for learners as designated by faculty.
• Engage in initial training and calibration sessions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Learning Enterprise team.
• An associate's degree and one (1) year of relevant experience in the applicable field or a similar combination of experience and/or training.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
• Completion of mandatory fingerprinting is required.
• Must reside in Arizona; special permissions are required for employment outside the state and may not be granted.
• A solid understanding of course concepts is essential.
• Capability to provide meaningful feedback and assess assignments promptly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• A commitment to promoting educational equity for scholars in underserved communities is essential.
• Exceptional engagement, team-building, and communication skills.
• Previous teaching experience is a plus, particularly with high school students.
• Experience as a tutor and/or in student success initiatives.
• Familiarity with Canvas or a similar Learning Management System.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capacity to thrive in dynamic or challenging situations.
• Knowledge of content or coursework in a relevant field.
• Dedication to providing consistent support to students.
• Proficiency in English and completion of ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, or equivalent courses.
