This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Oversee and manage accounting operations across various locations, ensuring precision and compliance with both local and international standards.
• Perform month-end closing activities, guaranteeing accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with TFRS.
• Document and review journal entries and account analyses for all balance sheet accounts, as well as P&L, which includes reconciling balance sheet accounts, bank statements, sales, and revenue recognition.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks, which encompass reconciliations and necessary adjustments.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including resolving any discrepancies that arise.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and guarantee that all taxes are prepared and submitted to the revenue department within specified timelines.
• Prepare and maintain records for withholding tax documents and payment vouchers.
• Offer guidance and assistance to junior accounting staff and other departments regarding accounting-related issues.
• Help in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.
• Analyze financial data and trends to pinpoint areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
• Maintain and refine accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring precision and compliance with deadlines.
• Calculate and manage payments for overtime, bonuses, and other variable compensation.
• Keep accurate payroll records and employee information within the payroll system.
• Update and verify employee data, including tax withholding, direct deposit, and personal details.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in accounting, demonstrating a successful track record of managing accounting functions across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
• Excellent proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Skilled in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
