This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Facilitate prompt responses to the technical needs of key customers in Asia, including troubleshooting, launching new products, and completing Joint Development Programs activities in collaboration with the R&D and Project teams.
• Offer application development and laboratory analysis assistance for the CS business unit across Asia.
• Oversee the preparation and disposal schedules for each chemical process implemented in the pilot lines.
• Collaborate on joint projects with Global R&D for the development of new products and processes as assigned.
• Primarily support scale testing and the development of new product applications for ME and IC.
• Generate high-quality samples to aid in the product and process certification for customers based on business needs.
• Convert application expertise from R&D for both internal and external clients.
• Deliver sampling and high-level technical onsite services to key customers.
• Conduct ME failure analyses of technical issues as required by both internal and external customers.
• Complete projects assigned by the team leader while strictly adhering to the GDAC procedures, including 5S, HSE, and relevant documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• Graduate or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of chemical products, formulations, and their applications.
• Proficient in data analysis, problem diagnosis, and developing evidence-based solutions.
• Familiarity with application testing methods, industry standards, and customer processes.
• Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and quality standards within the chemical sector.
• Customer-focused mindset with the capability to translate technical details into customer benefits.
• Excellent presentation and technical communication skills.
• Comfort in collaborating with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an inquisitive nature.
