This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist the Management Accountant and department with daily accounting responsibilities.
• Oversee daily bank reconciliation to ensure the timely accuracy of financial accounts.
• Manage the accounts payable process, including the payment of supplier invoices and the issuance of remittance and supplier statements.
• Reconcile and resolve any accounts payable inquiries.
• Provide coverage for Accounts Receivable by posting sales invoices to the sales ledger when necessary.
• Communicate with clients and vendors as needed to ensure accurate and timely payments.
• Report on creditors and liaise with internal stakeholders to update on the status of aged items.
• Administer the company credit card platform and assist the Finance Director in implementing process enhancements and compliance measures.
• Address queries and support the month-end closing process, which includes posting accruals and prepayments.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration is preferred.
• Part-qualified in AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Exceptional numerical, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with basic bookkeeping practices.
• Experience in Management Accounting is considered an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productivity tools.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial accounts.
