Asphalt Technician

📋 Description

• The ideal candidate should preferably reside in the Oxfordshire region due to key contracts supported by this role, and must be willing to undertake projects across the nation.

• Breedon is a prominent vertically integrated international construction materials company operating in Great Britain, Ireland, and the United States, specializing in the production and supply of drystone, asphalt, and ready-mix concrete.

• Breedon Airfields focuses on the application of various types of asphalt on airfields throughout Great Britain. In this role, as a member of the Technical Team and reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the asphalt meets both material and laying quality specifications and performance criteria, utilizing our mobile UKAS accredited laboratory.

⛳️ Requirements

• The preferred candidate will have relevant experience in this sector, although this is not a strict requirement, as we welcome applications from practical, numerate, and literate individuals eager to engage in the work and maximize the internal and external training opportunities available.

• A flexible, proactive, and hands-on work attitude is essential, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills. You will interact with customers and colleagues at all levels within the organization, thus the ability to work confidently and courteously both within a team and independently is necessary.
