Asbestos Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute asbestos testing, inspections, and reporting in accordance with SOCOTEC's quality procedures and Health & Safety regulations.

• Perform asbestos surveys, air sampling, fibre counting, and four-stage clearance assessments.

• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.

• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

• Document and issue precise analytical reports.

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver work within agreed timelines.

• Identify opportunities to enhance SOCOTEC’s broader services.

• Support projects across sectors including defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess BOHS P403 and P404 certifications or RSPH Level 3 in Asbestos Air Monitoring.

• Relevant industry experience is crucial, with a proven track record in a similar position.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Willingness to undertake travel as necessary.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong client-facing skills and confidence in engaging with contractors, project managers, and stakeholders.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and report generation.

• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
