This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist with the ARTS Program Software Facilities, ATMS, and related operational environments.

• Support high-fidelity software simulation settings utilized in air traffic management research.

• Manage, oversee, and troubleshoot ARTS facility systems and operational tools.

• Provide technical integration, configuration management, or system administration services.

• Ensure smooth operations during NASA’s organizational and contract transitions.

• Collaborate with NASA researchers, facility operators, and the wider Metis technical team.

• Offer continuous mission support.

• Aid in simulation, software integration, facility operations, and mission-critical technical services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in supporting ARTS at Ames or remotely.

• Familiarity with research simulation environments.

• Experience with air traffic management tools or high-fidelity software environments.

• Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration.

• Background in integration, testing, or operational support of technical facilities.

• Technical support experience that aligns with air traffic management research goals.

• Experience in software development.

• Skills, experience, and compatibility with ARTS technical specifications.

• Current ARTS support experience is welcomed, though prior employer affiliation is not mandatory.
