Artificial Intelligence Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete technical direction and architectural frameworks for impactful GenAI projects.

• Develop and enhance CI/CD processes and automated evaluation workflows.

• Lead the assessment and prototyping of innovative techniques to inform critical decisions regarding our AI strategy.

• Establish advanced observability mechanisms and monitoring approaches to track agent logic and enhance performance.

• Propel experimentation cycles to guarantee that solutions are both state-of-the-art and commercially feasible.

• Serve as the primary design authority and code reviewer, providing mentorship to engineers and promoting best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 to 15 years of extensive engineering experience, ideally in a Tier-1 firm.

• Proficiency in Python with a strong grasp of creating and scaling high-quality code.

• Demonstrated experience in developing LLM applications and utilizing RAG frameworks, including hybrid search, vector databases, and ANN algorithms.

• Solid background in defining component-level architecture and shaping team behaviors for agentic workflows.

• Thorough understanding of implementing automated evaluation pipelines for non-deterministic AI outputs.

• Familiarity with LLM observability and analytics platforms such as Datadog or Databricks.

• Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies and capability to address production issues across various time zones.
